Franklin Garrett profile from 1974 (Part III)
Written by Joe
Monday, 13 August 2007
I found this old issue of the Sunday "Atlanta Journal and Constitution Magazine"  from 1974 a couple of years ago. The cover story was the passenger rail from Atlanta to New Orleans with lots of photos, but the inside surprise a nice profile of Franklin Garrett on the release of his first new book in twenty years. There is much more depth in his biography, The Man Who Amazed Atlanta from the 1990s but this article covers the ground in a fun way, I think.
